OCME has developed a system that can be applied both to new shrink wrap packers as well as to existing machines, to achieve packs with easy to open film.

A cutter system on the Shrink Wrapper produces micro-punching on the film before it is wrapped around the pack. The micro-punching is applied on the top, front and back of the pack. The bottom of the pack is not punched so as not to affect the stability.

This system has the following benefits:

- Improve pack appeal to the consumer

- It is low cost and can be retrofitted on OCME’s existing Shrink Wrappers
